Still the best for beginners

I've been using Mailchimp for 5 years for my small boutique. The drag-and-drop builder is intuitive, the templates are beautiful, and the analytics are easy to understand. It's not the cheapest once your list grows, but for small lists it's unbeatable.

Pricing has gotten out of hand

Used to love Mailchimp. But they keep restricting the free plan and hiking prices. My 3,000-subscriber list now costs me $50/month. Moved to Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) for the same features at $15/month. Mailchimp needs to rethink their pricing.

Perfect for our nonprofit

Mailchimp offers free plans for nonprofits and the features are excellent for our needs. We send monthly newsletters to 2,000 donors and the open rates and reporting are fantastic. Support has always been helpful when we had questions.

Final Verdict

Mailchimp is an excellent choice for small businesses starting with email marketing. Its intuitive interface, extensive templates, and all-in-one features make it easy to grow your audience. However, as your list grows, the pricing becomes less competitive compared to alternatives like ActiveCampaign or Klaviyo.
