My second brain
I have my entire life in Notion — work projects, personal goals, reading notes, travel plans, and meal planning. Once you invest the time to set it up properly, it's absolutely indispensable. The relational database feature alone is worth the subscription.
Great for startups
Our 15-person startup uses Notion for everything from engineering roadmaps to HR onboarding docs. The flexibility is unmatched — we've built custom databases that do things I couldn't imagine fitting into any other tool. The mobile app could be faster though.
Too complex for simple users
I tried Notion three times over two years. It's incredibly powerful but the learning curve is brutal if you just want a simple note-taking app. The flexibility is both the best and worst thing about it. Ended up using it just for simple docs.
Notion is one of the most versatile productivity tools ever built. Its ability to serve as notes, wiki, database, and project manager in one place makes it uniquely powerful. The learning curve is real, but once set up, Notion becomes an indispensable hub for personal productivity and team collaboration.
